In the congested lain lane of Katra Neel, Delhi, towards the end is a faded board. It caught my eye because of the lovely jharokhas above it.
On asking I was told it was a samadhi of a Rajasthani Saint and much venerated..indie the doorway was a shop selling material and then a lovely courtyard.
Across the courtyard was a hall. The hall had seen much better days, it had a look of being u cared for. An old couple invited me inside.
The girder had Falken down and so a pile of mud was gathered on the flooring.
A bright pink door on the left housed the samadhi.
They didn’t know much. As they were very upset about the fallen girders & partially damaged ceiling I didn’t want to trouble them so left with images and thoughts of what it must have been once
