Fatima Masumeh was the sister of the eighth Imam Reza and the daughter of the seventh Imam Musa al-Kazim.
It started as a simple shrine and even in 2007 when we visited it was very simple.
Today it’s a magnificent shrine.
Qom is also the Centre of Shia theology and learning.
