As we climbed #ShahiMahal steps I could see the glimpse of a tantalizing ceiling with sun and stars cut in it. 3 small domes all with same sun/ star motif cut in it for sunlight and rain.

I’m sure there must have been some wooden blocks to close the holes when it was needed as per weather.

Today we dream of exotic spas but the Sultans of Malwa were there before us.

The #hammam in #Mandu was a dream with its sun/star motif roof, fireplaces to heat water, and channels for carrying hot / cold water

Unfortunately the tiles were spoilt but I could see they were beautiful.
