A sigh for the Bridge of Sighs

I had a very romantic mental image of the famous Bridge of Sighs in Venice.( it was named by Lord Byron). IT was the last view of fresh air seen by prisoners who walked upto it into their prison cell.

From inside it keeps up to its promise since you reach after quite a long walk through all the various prison cells.

But on the outside commerce has ruined it. As you can see the eye catching visual is of the blue ads placed on top of it and at both sides.

There is a limit to commercialization!!
