Dargah of Sheikh Raju Qattal in Khuldabad, Maharashtra

When Sultan Mohammad bin Tughlaq gave orders for the shifting of the capital from Delhi to Daulatabad, he ordered Sufi saints to shift as well.
One of them was Hazrat Syed Shah Yusuf Hussaini, popularly known as Hazrat Shah Raju Qattal a Sayyid fromKhurasan, who had become a disciple of Shaikh Nizamuddin Auliya.
The title Qattal was given because he slayed worldly desires through severe penance .
He reached Khuldabad in 1328 and left this world, three years later in 1331. He remains buried in a simple tomb within the compound of his house.
Malik Ambar the famous Abysinnian general is buried close to this Dargah.

Shah Raja Qattal is father of Banda Nawaz Hazrat Gesu daraz.

He is buried in Khuldabad near Aurangabad in Maharashtra. His tomb was made by Tana Shah, his disciple the last Qutb Shahi king of Golcunda.
