Garam Khana, Hammam, Red Fort

This is the Garam khana of the Hammam in the Red Fort.

Precious & Semi precious stone inlay used to grace this room once to create the effect of a garden.

Sir Syed Ahmad Khan says this room was perhaps never heated after Shah Jahan’s and Aurangzeb as 125 maunds of wood was just a morsel for heating it ( so much wood was needed)

I had visited it some years ago.
