Lauki ka Salan

Ingredients

1/2 kg mutton (trimmed of fat)

8-9 big cubes of Lauki : deseeded &peeled

grind together

1 tomato

1/2 onion

1 tbsp each

Ginger garlic paste

1/2 tbsp haldi p

1tsp dhania p

Mirch & salt to taste

1/2 onion sliced finely

Method

Heat oil in pressure cooker, add sliced onions & fry golden

Add all the ground mazaa & powders. Saute till gives nice aroma & oil has left the sides.

Add mutton & 1 cup water & salt.

Pressure cook 15 minutes.

When the steam has escaped open. Add the Lauki pieces & cook for another 5 Minutes

There should be shorba or curry in it. If the water has dried add 1/2 cup & cook on Sim.

Garnish with hara dhania.

( Note: I don’t use garam mazaa but if u do you can add 1/4 tsp to ground masalas)
