Shri Niwas or the House of Mirrors in Jaipur’s City Palace

The City Palace, Jaipur comprises of many mahals.
The portion in which the royal family stays is Chandra Niwas and is built on seven levels.
The top floors are accessible through a separate ticket called Royal Splendour. The ticket is expensive but one can see the splendour of erstwhile royal families.
The Fifth floor is Shri Niwas or the House of Mirrors with walls, pillars, and ceiling decorated with mirrors.
The glass is venetian and the joints are silver. The light was very dim so one can’t really get the glittering beauty of this exquisite room.
