The world’s smallest mosque in Bhopal

The worlds smallest mosque at 16 m is on top of the Fatehgarh fort walls in one of the bastions.

The fort was built in 1716 by Dost Mohammad Khan named after his wife Fateh Bibi

He made this mosque inside the burj for soldiers to pray.

The openings in the turrets for guns show how some guided the Fort while others prayed.

Today it has proper stairs but earlier 2 1$2 steps led up to the bastion from the ramparts thus giving it name of

Dhai seedhi ki masjid

It’s Bhopal first mosque.
