Trinity Church, Boston

The Trinity Church in Boston was founded in 1733. It stands in Copley Square and is a must visit.

It’s a part of the back bay historic district of Boston.

It was was built under the direction of Rector Phillips Brooks (1835–1893), one of the best-known and most charismatic preachers of his time.

The church and parish house were designed by Henry Hobson Richardson and construction took place from 1872 to 1877, when the complex was consecrated.

The interior with its stained glass windows above the altar ate exquisite

It has a high ceiling and no columns to divide the seayong

The effect of wood is said to be that of a warm embrace and indeed I could feel the warmth

On either sides of the hall are stained glass depictions of Christmas and Easter

At the back is a magnificent panel of the Redemption of Christ

The cost of a ticket is 10$ and there’s an audio guide

Can be accessed by Copley metro.

The Old South Church and Boston Public Library are also nearby
