In June 2014 Asif Khan Dehlvi and I had gone for a walk in Mehrauli ( I was researching for Where Stones Speak and spent long hours there in the summer heat)
I clicked these photos of Kaale Miyan ki haveli in mehrauli.
Kaale Miyan was the spiritual perceptor / Pir o Murshid of Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar.
In those days because the nobility and residents shifted with the Badshah to Mehrauli in tje monsoons, many stately havus were built. Last I was there this was being demolished. Probably replaced by flats by now
