Many years ago when I read Mirror of Beauty by Prof Shamsur Rahman Faruqi , I went exploring the kothi built by William Fraser and later bought by Hindu Rao.
Currently it’s the Bara Hindu Rao hospital.
Only a very small part of the original kothi survived in 2013. I don’t know if it still does.
And if one reads the description in Mirror of Beauty of the Mushaira held there and the kothi then it’s heart break.
