The shrine of Hazrat Fatima Masumeh in Qom is the second holiest Shia shrine in Iran.
Fatima Masumeh was the sister of the eighth Imam Reza and the daughter of the seventh Imam Musa al-Kazim.
It started as a simple shrine and even in 2007 when we visited it was very simple.
Today it’s a magnificent shrine.
Qom is also the Centre of Shia theology and learning.
