This is a beautifully scenic temple on a hill k jutting out into the sea.
The walk is very scenic with the waves lashing on both sides and the lighthouse on the left
When I went the water was swirling over the steps
The temple is a Shiva temple and Chandra-Mouliswar Shiva is the presiding deity at the core of the temple.
The deity form was found at the confluence of Gomati, Ganga and Arabian Sea by the Acharya Jagatguru Sankaracharya himself.
The sea can be seen from its doors
It’s a very popular point at sunset
On the walk back one has to be careful as water can come up.
The path can get submerged in high tide
Apart from the Darshan it’s a great place to enjoy the sea
