As we climbed #ShahiMahal steps in Mandy I could see the glimpse of a building with small domes
Closer inspection showed an exquisite medieval Hammam with tantalizing ceiling with sun and stars cut in it all the three domes
Tey were made of ceramic to take the heat
There were three rooms and provisions for heating and cooling
And passages for water to flow.
And small tanks to hold water
Is it any wonder that I’m bedazzled!
This #hammam was used by Rani Roopmati and Nur Jahan
It is on the side so don’t miss it!
