Karimuddin mosque in Bijapur is one of the earliest mosques of the city dated 1320.
Its currently under renovation and Alka Kaushik and I got our feet very dirty there.
Abdur Razzaq saheb the mutawalli washes our feet after we dirty our feet in the mud. Masjid is under repairs so lot of dirt around.
When I object he says
“aap hamari Maa ho. Aap hain to hum hain.”
Both Alka and I are blown away by his simplicity and noble thoughts
