I had posted one on Islam yesterday. Today i want to talk of the painting titled humanism. On it is inscribed Iqbal’s verse:
ḳhudī ko kar buland itnā ki har taqdīr se pahle
ḳhudā bande se ḳhud pūchhe batā terī razā kyā ha
خودی کو کر بلند اتنا کہ ہر تقدیر سے پہلے
خدا بندے سے خود پوچھے بتا تیری رضا کیا ہ
Allama Iqbal’s verse “Khudi ko kar buland itna” highlights the philosophy of Khudi—the realization of one’s potential and individuality. He urges individuals to elevate themselves so profoundly that God seeks their will in shaping destiny. This concept emphasizes self-sufficiency, courage, and purposeful action, guiding humanity toward self-actualization, spiritual growth, and the fulfillment of their unique purpose.
