Since namaz is governed by time and position of the sun, a dhoop ghadi is but natural inside Masjid e Jahannuna aka Dilli’s Jama MasjidUnfortunately since we care nothing for our heritage we misuse everything. I’ve seen people sitting and standing on the dhoop ghadi
These seem to have been added in the mosque in 20th century from the Hijri date given on the sundial
There another round stump next to dhoop ghadi. I’m sure it must have contained something important now lost your us
