Tho the whole #Pattadakkal site is worth the travel, this exquisitely detailed sculpture of Ravan taking away the #Kailasa Parvat bec he was tired of waiting for Shiva to give him darshan, can be a goal in itself.

The weight of the mountain is pushing his feet into the earth.
The side shown is his back but as he had ten heads it looks as if it’s the front side.
