The Mehrauli flower market or phoolon ki mandi was a city landmark. It is opposite the Qutub Minar metro station in front of the Mehrauli Archeological Park nurseries.
The three main flower marketsof Fatehpuri, Mehrauli, and Connaught Place, have now been shifted to a single unit in Ghazipur, near the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border.
However on eve of Diwali I found a few vendors here selling marigold and lotus.
