A very popular Awadh snack in Ramzan as well as accompaniment to pulao in regular days.
Make phulki – pakodi- soak in warm water.
Take 1/2 kg dahi – beat with salt and a garlic- red chili paste
4 cloves garlic – 1 red chili whole- stone ground if possible
Add the phulki- squeeze out water from it gently before adding.
Temper with methi, zeera and red chili
