Rana Safvi is a renowned author, translator and documenter of history, heritage and India's syncretic culture. She is the author of the Delhi Trilogy (Where Stones Speak: Historical Trails in Mehrauli, the First City of Delhi, The Forgotten Cities of Delhi, Shahjahanabad The Living City of Old Delhi), and Tales from the Quran and Hadith. She has translated Dastan-e-Ghadar, Asar-us-Sanadid, four accounts form 19th and 20th century as City of My Heart.
